Imperfect

This is my first blog on this topic, so especially things are not going
to be perfect :). For a while now, I've been wanting to write about the
chaos and imperfections of human life I personify, the trials and
tribulations I live through -in fact everyone of us lives through, but, find
something at the end of it all.
My childhood was very peaceful with two extraordinary parents
with amazing grace, kindness and values that they held us to.
I had a lot of creative interests and our rather huge backyard was
the perfect playground. Catching the cicada and making it pick up
the tiny stone, using the hibiscus petal to do all kinds of things,
including using it as a paint and wondering why its not read, using
rubber bands to create a musical instrument, etc. Much to my mother's
dismay, I'd be often seen dozing off, especially during summers.
I dont regret those fun times. What happened with this creativity is
focus on one topic or studying (as the norm was back then) or doing
one thing at a time was nearly impossible.
But what did evolve is an adaptable self, who could almost take on
anything and do anything I wanted -whether its a role change at work
involving managing a multi million dollar portfolio, or leading an
employee resource groups with numerous team members, or
at home a multifaceted person who can cook, clean and multi-task
at the same time.
Sometimes it bugs me though : what is perfection? is it subjective?
its subject to the eye of the beholder?
Thoughts are welcome !
